Pierre Fitzgibbon

Senior Advisor - Energy, Manufacturing & Business Succession

Pierre Fitzgibbon joined DNA Advisors Inc. in 2026 as a Senior advisor in Mergers and Acquisitions providing support for entrepreneurship through acquisition.

Currently, he serves as a Special Advisor at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt. He is also Chair of the Board of Invera Flexibles and serves on the boards of three private companies and a university foundation.

Throughout his career, he has worked for several organizations, including PwC, Peerless Carpet, Domtar, Telesystem International Wireless and National Bank Group. From 2002 to 2007, he served as Vice Chairman of National Bank Financial, where he oversaw investment banking and corporate financing activities. From 2007 to 2014, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Atrium Innovations. He then served as Managing Partner at Walter Capital Partners, a private equity firm from 2015 to 2018 before entering politics.

Elected to the National Assembly of Quebec in October 2018, Pierre Fitzgibbon served as Quebec’s Minister of Economy and Innovation. Re-elected in October 2022, he resumed this role while also assuming responsibility for the Energy portfolio. He also oversaw regional economic development including that of the Montreal region until September 2024, when he officially announced his retirement from politics.

Throughout his career, he has served on numerous boards of directors, including those of the Caisse de Dépôt et placement du Québec, WSP Global, Héroux-Devtek, Transcontinental and several philanthropic organizations.
