Senior Advisor - Technology
Tom Birch joined DNA Advisors Inc. in June 2026 as a Senior Advisor. A recognized executive in the fields of venture capital, technology, and innovation, he brings extensive leadership experience gained at leading organizations, where he played a key role in developing and executing investment strategies focused on emerging technologies and high-growth companies.
Prior to joining DNA, he served as Managing Director, Global Venture Capital and Technology, at CDPQ (Caisse de Dépôt et Placement du Québec). In this role, he led CDPQ’s global technology investment strategy, with a mandate to identify, support, and invest in innovative companies around the world across all stages of development and asset classes. He also played a pivotal role in evaluating emerging business models and assessing the impact of technological innovation on investment strategies, value creation, and risk management.
Drawing on this extensive expertise, Mr. Birch advises entrepreneurs, investors, and high-growth companies on strategic planning, financing initiatives, and the development of high-value business opportunities.
